Colman's 200th Birthday Celebrations

In 2014 Colman’s will celebrate their 200th birthday! Full of excitement at the conceptual brief to create a special pack for this iconic British brand, I researched Colman's and it's history thoroughly and what a wonderful history this brand has!

My reaction towards the age of the brand was a shocked one, and it seemed to have shocked everyone I told also. So I combined the reaction of the event with some traditional sayings.

I wanted to make sure my outcome dialled up the British heritage and include the core brand assets. I wanted to create a design that was relevant and of the moment yet at the same time retain everything that Colman's is best known for. Created whilst working at Blow Creative.

Did you know, in 1903 Colman’s brought Keen & Son, spawning the saying ‘as keen as mustard'!
